Lamplight Baby Sleep, LLC (“Lamplight”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to the Personalized Sleep Plan and AI Sleep Coach services.
What we collect
- Account and purchase details: your name, email address, and the records of what you bought. Payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see your full card number.
- Questionnaire answers: information about your baby (first name or nickname, date of birth, sleep habits, feeding, and health or safety details you choose to share) and about you (your sleep, how you are holding up, your goals).
- Coach conversations: the messages you send to the AI Sleep Coach and its replies.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and to keep the site working. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To write and deliver your sleep plan and to personalize the coach to your family.
- To provide, secure and improve the Services, and to communicate with you about your account.
- To review plans and, where a message is flagged as a possible emergency, to consider reaching out to you personally.
- To meet legal obligations and to protect our rights.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Anthropic, whose Claude API generates plan drafts and coach replies. Your questionnaire answers, your plan and your coach messages are sent to Anthropic for that purpose, subject to Anthropic’s commercial terms, under which API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models.
- Our web host and email provider, to run the site and send messages.
- Authorities or others where required by law, or to protect the safety of a child or another person.
Children
The Services are for adults. We collect information about your baby only from you, only as needed to provide the Services, and we ask you to share no more than is needed. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Health-related information
Some questionnaire answers and coach messages may include health-related details about your child or yourself. We ask for them only so we know when to tell you to see a doctor and to keep plans safe. We are not a healthcare provider and this information is not protected health information under HIPAA; we protect it as sensitive personal information under this policy.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account, plan and conversation history while you have an account, so your coach can stay personalized. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing steve@lamplightsleep.com; we will do so within 30 days, except for records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — encrypted connections, access controls, one-time sign-in links — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; please keep your sign-in links private.
Your choices
You can update your questionnaire, start a fresh coach conversation, cancel your subscription, or request a copy or deletion of your data from your account page or by email. If you are a resident of a state with a consumer privacy law that applies to us, you may have additional rights, which you can exercise by contacting us.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new date. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
